Sustainability

At Kingsbury Wagyu we have a Net Zero production process through adopting a circular economy.

  • We have our own Biomass Plant which creates biomass energy to naturally fuel our production whereby we use by-product from our animals (farm yard manure and slurry) to create electricity and heat to fuel homes and businesses within our local community in County Armagh, including Kingsbury Wagyu farming and production sites. Any by-product not transferred into biomass is used on our land, to improve soil structures and quality of the countryside we are lucky to call home.

Through our meticulously perfected production system which includes how we rear our cattle, the nutritional feed we have scientifically developed and the lifestyle our cattle are provided, we are able to reduce the average age of slaughter, whilst also enhancing meat quality. This has allowed us to reduce our carbon footprint by over 40%, compared to traditional Wagyu Beef production systems.

We understand our responsibility to the environment and creating sustainable practices for our Wagyu Beef production and are dedicated to sustainability producing the highest quality of Wagyu Beef in an environmentally focused way.
